New families may contact the St. Barnabas School office at 317-881-7422 ext. 248 to receive registration materials or to set up a tour. We'd love to show you our school!
In order to register for the upcoming year and be guaranteed placement on a class list:
1) ALL returning school families must be current on any tuition or fees including Aftercare and cafeteria fees.
2) ALL current families deemed participating parishioners must have worked to attain their 2016-2017 pledge and complete a pledge card for 2017-2018 with a target of 5% of gross income.
3) $250 per student is due at the time of registration and is deducted from your 2017-2018 balance (of tuition or participating school fees). Please return all materials by February 10, 2017. The balance of participating parishioner fees are due by May 12, 2017.
The registration process is complete when all registration materials are returned to the school office and the above criteria are met.

Participating Parishioner -
a) Regularly attend Mass at St. Barnabas Catholic Church
b) Registered member with history of tithing at a target of 5% of gross income for the minimum of one full school year as well as a current stewardship intent card completed and on file with the Business Office representing a target of giving of 5% of gross income.
c) Actual tithing gifts reflect stewardship pledge.
d) Must attend mandatory parent meetings annually or as scheduled.
Non-Participating Parishioner and Non-parishioners
a) Non-members of St. Barnabas Catholic Church
b) Catholic families who have recently joined the parish will pay tuition for one full school year before consideration is given to participating parishioner status.
c) Catholic families who do not have a history of tithing to St. Barnabas targeted at 5% of gross income
Tuition and Fees for 2017-2018 for Grades K-8
Participating parishioners complete a pledge card targeted at 5% of gross income, meet their pledge, and pay $1300 per student in school fees. Plus and additional one time $200 fee per student, grades 6 through 8 for the purchase of a Chrome Book. All others pay tuition. The tuition rates for 2017-2018 are:
$5,300 for one student
$8,100 for two students
$10,400 for three students
Four or more students is the three children rate plus an additional $2000 for each additional child. Plus and additional one time $200 fee per student, grades 6 through 8 for the purchase of a Chrome Book.
The non-refundable registration fee is $250 per child and is applied to the annual balance. The registration fee is due at the time of registration and the balance of school fees is due before school is out each year for the following year.
Students paying tuition also pay a non-refundable $250 registration fee that is applied towards the balance. Tuition payments are made over 10 months from July through April.
Tuition and Fees for 2016-2017 for PreK
Pre-K is a separate program and is funded wholly by tuition. Per child tuition rates for all Pre-K students is as follows:
$4,000 for M-F full week, all day
$2,400 for M-W-F 3 day, all day
$1,600 for T-TH 2 day, all day
A non-refundable $250 registration fee per student is due at registration and is applied towards total tuition. The balance is due, at the minimum, in 10 equal installments July 2017-April 2018.
The Indiana Choice Scholarship Program, enacted in May of 2011, provides scholarships to attend a school of choice to lower income Indiana families. Families may click on the button above to learn more information and should contact Business Manager, Meg Horcher to apply - email@example.com.
Voucher applications for Pre-K are available for families who qualify from January 13, 2017 – March 31, 2017. Families can access applications online at www.onmywayprek.org or through St. Barnabas School. There will be a state lottery process to award Pre-K vouchers only.
Tax Credit Scholarships (SGO Scholarships)
The Indiana Scholarship Tax Credit Program provides eligible lower income families with scholarships given by certified Scholarship Granting Organizations (or SGOs) to attend the school of their choice. Private donors receive a 50% tax credit for their donations to these SGOs to fund scholarships.
